Made in Germany or Bohemia, circa 1880-1900, Da Salo model with fancy double purfling, lightly figured one piece slab cut back, antiqued dark wine-red varnish, newer ebony fittings with a Wittner tailpiece, Zyex strings, because of the somewhat larger body size it has a nice fairly deep resonant tone, VGC but does have a good number of dents/dings/knocks, etc., with lightweight arrow case, on consignment
