An intriguing openback banjo, this C. Waldman Chromatic offers clear, rich tones from bass to treble but still with lots of pop. Features include a 12" 3-ply Claro Walnut rim and a hand-carved Claro Walnut neck from a very special Heritage Tree -- perhaps the largest Balck Walnut in the Pacific Northwest. It has Waldman's own integral all-wood "Tone Rim" (see Details section below) of re-claimed coastal redwood. The decorative details are Manzanita from a tree on Chuck's own property.
