The Acme Professional banjos were built by S.S. Stewart for Sears, Roebuck & Co. starting in 1894. This banjo features a fancy pearl and abalone vine inlay on the fingerboard. This one will make a good restoration project for someone. With chipboard SSC. VGC except needs new higher crown head, re-fret to straighten neck, dowel stick reset, replace inlays, etc. - sold AS-IS.

Metal clad maple rim (metal has been buffed out to brass finish)
30 brackets (some replaced hooks and nuts)
11" frosted top head
Dowel stick stamped "ACME PROFESSIONAL"
Stewart "Common Sense" tailpiece
Metal neck adjuster / brace
Small block of wood added on top of dowel stick by tailpiece
A few extra hooks and nuts in case (5 are missing by tailpiece and 2 shoes)
1-1/4" nut, ~27" scale
