A. G. Treat Violin (1910)
Made in Grand Rapids, Michigan and dated Dec. 25th, 1910, this is basically a Guarneri model, one piece back of very handsome flamed maple, dark red-brown varnish, fairly flat arching gives this a nice strong rich tone, ebony fittings with a Thomastik tailpiece, G-VGC, with funky shaped case (no handle), on consignment.
A great setup can make a world of difference. This instrument has been thoroughly inspected and expertly set up to play comfortably and sound its best.
