EC-, a rare and unique early Petros custom instrument, 8 individual strings, 7 full scale strings tuned "E" to low "B," short scale (~19") hi "E" in the 8th string position (much like the banjo 5th string), 14-1/2" lower bout, gloss natural finish on sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, 14 fret solid Indian rosewood neck with rosewood fingerboard, no truss rod (neck is straight with just a bit of relief after 30 years), pearl dot inlays, 21 frets, 4-1/8" soundhole diameter, rope-style rosette and top purfling, rosewood bridge, body binding and peghead overlay, guitar once had pickguard installed and there is a "shadow" in the finish, 7 chrome die-cast Schaller tuners with metal buttons, banjo-style 8th string tuner with pearloid button, polished bone bridge saddle and nut, very good sound, hand-made label is "#21" dated "Feb. 1980" and signed by Bruce Petros, ~2-7/32" nut width, 2-11/16" at 5th fret, 25-1/4" scale, made in the USA, on consignment, with import flat-lid HSC (black lining) - price reduced , (SN:#21)
