Our 100th episode!! This one is a recorded interview with the late banjo legend Wade Mainer and his wife, Julia (“Hilbilly Lilly”) Mainer- in an interview conducted by folk legend Mike Seeger. Wade was a pre-Earl Scruggs fingerstyle (2-finger) banjoist, and became a legendary country performer and a major influence on early bluegrass music.
