Gibson F-5L (1981)

Likely one of the last mandolins made by Gibson in Kalamazoo, this F-5L features a solid spruce top and maple back, sides, and neck, all in a sunburst finish. Fine appointments include gold hardware and a headstock overlay with floral and logo inlays. "The Gibson"is etched on replacement tailpiece cover. The finish has several areas of touch-up and overspray, and the finish on the back of the neck is very worn. It also has one repaired side crack. Overall, this impressive instrument is in very good condition. More details...
