Eiichi Sumi of Nagano, Japan, has been making musical instruments since the late 1970s. In 1986, he took over a small 4-person shop and started his own company. No web site is available. He is an old school builder and doesn't use the internet; he has enough orders to keep the shop busy without advertising. Sumi has built instruments for Larry Carlton, Ry Cooder, and many others.
