A top-of-the-line instrument from the 2nd year of National Guitars, this Style 4 Deluxe Tricone Round Neck resonator guitar features an engraving pattern sometimes referred to as Style 4 Deluxe or Style 5. This extremely rare engraving variation features an “Acanthus Leaves pattern”, rather than the floral Chrysanthemum pattern seen on most Style 4 models. - Rare and fancy "Acanthus leaves pattern" engraving on top, back, sides, coverplate and hand strap
- Parallel engraved line on body edges (top, back and sides)
- "JB" (or "GB") also engraved on hand strap
- "PAT PEND" stamped into top at end of fingerboard
- Slug tailpiece
- 2 cases -- Newer HSC and dilapidated OHSC (extra shipping if you want the old case)
- Our shop reset the neck, installed new tuners, cones and saddle.
- Sides re-soldered on top upper bouts (not obvious - done by our shop)
- 2 small repaired cracks by high "E" tuner on headstock with touchup (also by our shop)
