Made in England, circa 1880-1920, two piece back of strong medium-width curl, dark red-brown antiqued varnish, ebony fittings with a Wittner tailpiece, Dominant strings, tone of great depth and resonance with a viola-like G-string, has a Banks facsimile label that also has "Hand made reproduction Made in England" typed on it, G-VGC, with an oblong HSC that looks like a Jaeger, on consignment
