Artur Teller (1977)
Made in Germany, this Artur Teller violin is model #592. It features a nicely flamed two-piece back with an ebony heel cap on the button, shaded amber-orange varnish, ebony fittings, and Dominant strings. It offers very pleasant, even tone of a somewhat soprano quality. It has a repaired treble wing crack and two small repaired cracks in the ribs over the bass side corner blocks, but overall it’s in very good condition. Includes good oblong hardshell case and case cover from the American case company, as well as a good nickel mounted bow that was made in Switzerland and is stamped “ALLEGRO.” Consignment.
