A beautiful banjo from the late 19th century, this S.S. Stewart Orchestra No. 2 has a metal clad maple rim with a ~13” skin head and a brass hoop tone ring. The maple neck has a carved heel and a 19-fret ebony fingerboard with fancy pearl inlays. The fancy inlaid ivoroid friction pegs have Maltese cross buttons.
