A nice early 20th century banjo, this Washburn No. 1535 features a metal-clad wood rim and a mahogany neck. The dyed wood fretboard is decorated with nice floral pattern inlays. Newer mechanical friction tuners with ivoroid buttons have been installed. The string height is 5/32" at 12th fret, at the high end of our acceptable range but OK for clawhammer.
