Luscomb Grade 2 (1890's)

An intriguing instrument from the late 19th century, this Luscomb Grade 2 banjo features a metal rim with a ~11-1/2" head and wood tone ring. The V-shaped mahogany neck has a 19-fret ebony fingerboard with diamond shaped pearl inlays. Other details include a grooved tension hoop, violin peg tuners, and an interesting metal tailpiece. This banjo has a repaired heel and it could use some work, but overall it’s in very good/excellent condition. More details...
