A rare early Gibson instrument, this Style U Harp Guitar adds a set of 10 ?sub-bass??strings to a standard 6-string guitar. It features a huge double bound body with a large oval soundhole, arched spruce top, and birch back and sides. The mahogany 6-string neck is connected to a mahogany stem and headpiece that supports the sub-bass strings. The Trapeze tailpiece has a newer ebony cross piece with 16 newer pins.
