Paul Butterfield honed his harp style in the clubs and bars of Chicago, and was known for the intensity of his tone, sustained breath control, and a unique ability to bend notes to his will. In these lessons he teaches: good sound production, using the tongue for "choking" and "blocking," reed bending, trills, octaves, the tremolo and tremulant, rhythm playing, acoustic versus electric harmonica, mic technique and more.
