Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Michigan has issued a "shelter in place" order for all non-essential businesses until April 13, 2020. That includes Elderly Instruments, which has temporarily stopped most daily operations. But there are still a few ways you can support Elderly and its employees during this uncertain time.
1. You Can Still Place An Order
Our website is still open, and you can still place orders. We'll put the item(s) on hold for you, and we won't collect any money at this time. We'll contact you to collect payment when we're able to re-open, and we'll ship it out as soon as the order is paid for. This will help kickstart things once we're able to do business again.
2. Follow Us On Social Media
We'll try to keep things entertaining on Facebook and Instagram over the next few weeks, sharing some of our favorite performances and photos. We also have a huge YouTube library, with lots of instrument demos, repair shop tips, and in-store guest performances. You can also follow us on Twitter, though things will be pretty quiet there until we get back to regular business. Liking, sharing, and commenting on our posts also helps other people discover us.
3. Leave Us A Review
Positive online reviews help people find us and give people the confidence to order from us. If you've had a good experience with Elderly, we would appreciate if you left us a kind review on Yelp, Google, Bing, Facebook, or whatever other place-finding service you use.
Above all else, we hope that all of you stay healthy and safe during this time. And we hope as you are able, you look for ways to support local businesses and your community. We hope to be back to "business as usual" soon.
