A nice early ‘20s Gibson mandolin, this F-4 features a carved spruce top with oval soundhole, maple sides and back, and a mahogany neck. It’s been re-finished in a nice natural finish. It also has a replacement fretboard, ebony bridge, and tortoise plastic pickguard. Nice appointments include a bound headstock with script logo and flowerpot inlay, 4-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons, and “The Gibson” stamped tailpiece cover.
