Gold Tone Acoustic-Electric Mandocello & Case

This is by far the least expensive instrument of its type available from ANY manufacturer, but boasts deluxe features not offered anywhere else. These include the patented Zero Glide nut and a Venetian-style cutaway body. It has a dual pickup system, which includes a jazz-style floating humbucker pickup mounted to the end of the pickguard, and a transducer pickup in the bridge (with volume controls for both on the pickguard), providing a superb plugged-in tone. The Mandocello has a maple back and sides and solid spruce top and is fitted with a blackwood fingerboard, an adjustable ebony bridge, an ebony tailpiece and a two-way adjustable truss rod. Hardshell case included. Acoustic players, please note: the pickguard may be removed and there will be no pickup or potentiometer holes in the top.

Wonderful instrument, wonderful dealer!
This is a beautiful instrument and the tone and sound is amazing! Elderly Music was wonderful in their communication in the order process. These Mandocellos are popular and you have to wait a bit to get one but its well worth it! Elderly was very good about staying in contact with me and answering my questions. I wish they had a store in Colorado! I would frequent them above all others. Thank you Elderly for this magnificent instrument! Review by John S. / (Posted on 1/27/2018)
Absolutely gorgeous instrument, both looking and sounding. This is my first mandocello and I couldn't be happier with my choice. It's such a deep and beautiful tone that's not quite like any instrument I've played.

One downside to this is that it uses ball end strings which appear to be hard to find for the mandocello. Review by Josh / (Posted on 2/11/2017)
