SANTA CRUZ TONY RICE BRAZILIAN (2001): EC-, red spruce top with large soundhole (4-1/2" diameter), scalloped bracing, lovely Brazilian rosewood sides (spruce side braces) and bookmatched back, 14-fret mahogany V-neck with squared headstock, 21 fret ebony fingerboard with pearl "SCGC" inlaid in frets 16 and 17, ebony bridge, herringbone top purfling and soundhole rosette, "Dalmation" pickguard, ivoroid-bound body, headstock and fretboard, "zipper" back strip, gold Waverly tuners with butterbean buttons, Brazilian rosewood peghead overlay, 15-1/2" lower bout, 25.4" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, 3-5/8" to 4-5/8" body depth, a few small top dings, top grade guitar, fine sound, top signed "Richard Hoover / 7 / 2001," on consignment, with TKL OHSC (green lining) * (SN:3426R)
