MASTERTONE SPECIAL MEHG LAP STEEL GUITAR (1940): EC-, brown crinkle finish, guitar shaped mahogany body, cream painted metal fingerboard with painted fret lines and position markers, 2-1/16" nut width, 22-1/2" scale, cream crinkle finished five-sided control plate surrounds single coil pickup and bakelite knobs, headstock tapers to a point with silkscreened "MASTERTONE SPECIAL" logo, 3-on-a-plate tuners with black plastic buttons, made by Gibson, repaired body crack behind bridge, no pot codes, very cool, on consignment, with rough OSSC (purple lining) (SN:F1429 253)
