MARTIN 000-45 (1935)

VG-EC with with some repaired top and back cracks, 15-1/8" lower bout, 24-7/8" scale, 1-3/4" nut width, Brazilian rosewood sides and back, abalone trim on all body borders and around soundhole, tortoise plastic pickguard, block "C.F. MARTIN" inlay in ivoroid-b-w-bound headstock, gold-plated open back tuners with butterbean buttons and stamped "GROVER", ivoroid-bound ebony fretboard with colorful pearl snowflake inlays, ebony belly bridge, much work done in the past: In 1979 the C.F. Martin company refinished it after repairing the top and back cracks, installing a new bridge, rosewood bridge plate and tuners. In 2009, Joe Konkoly in our shop replaced the bridge plate with an original size maple plate, reset the neck and dressed the frets, putting the guitar back into a more original state as well as optimizing its playability. Now as well with its well-aged finish and return to original specs this very fine sounding guitar will undoubtedly make some player/collector extremely happy! Includes late '70's Martin black thermoplastic HSC, on consignment . (SN:60805)
