GIBSON SUPER 300 (1954)

VGC+, Rare model and one of only 16 built in 1954 (only 204 built from 1948-58), stupendous 18-1/8" lower bout, sunburst finish all around, carved spruce top with f-holes and tone bar bracing, carved 2-piece curly maple back, curly maple sides, 2-piece maple neck with dark center strip, 20-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearl double parallelogram inlays, adjustable rosewood bridge, white-bound fretboard and headstock, w-b-w double-bound body, large trapeze tailpiece with 3 cutouts, individual tuners with single-ring Keystone buttons, pearl "Gibson" and crown headstock inlays, inside label reads "S-300", 25.4" scale, 1-21/32" nut width, ~3-3/8" body depth, b-w-b-w-b beveled edge pickguard has an extra mount that attaches to the bridge, strap button added in heel, basically a less fancy version of the Gibson Super 400 Model, good sound and volume, with brown OHSC (brown lining), on consignment (SN:A-17310 F.O.N.
