GIBSON F-2 (1917): VG-EC except very small repaired crack on back of neck below nut, red sunburst carved spruce top, oval soundhole, inlaid rope pattern-ivoroid-rope pattern soundhole rosette, red stained sides and carved back, 2-piece mahogany neck with dark center strip, 19-fret ebony fingerboard with extension, pearl dot inlays, replacement adjustable ebony bridge, 4-on-a-plate open-gear Handel tuners, ivoroid-bound top, soundhole and fretboard, pearl "The Gibson" headstock inlay, engraved tailpiece cover, tortoise plastic pickguard stamped "PAT.MAR.30,'09", pickguard mount stamped "PAT.JULY 4,1911", 14" scale, 1-3/16" nut width, ~1-3/4" body depth at endpin, 10" body width, frets are low but still a nice playing and sounding instrument, with black OHSC (purple lining), on consignment - price reduced (SN:38514 F.O.N. 3583)
