VG-EC, rare model first developed for the Columbian Exposition (1893 in Chicago), ~10-3/8" skin head, ~26" scale length, metal clad rim with 30 brackets (one replacement nut), 5 mechanical friction pegs with ivoroid buttons (5th peg has later white button), hinged No Knot tailpiece (unmarked), pearl dot inlays, metal Fairbanks plate, mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fretboard (which has been scalloped past the 17th fret), neck refretted and either refinished or oversprayed, on consignment - price reduced (SN:17944)
