GIBSON A-4 (1917): VG-EC, red sunburst carved spruce top with slight sinkage and an extra brace installed, red-stained maple sides and carved maple back, mahogany neck, oval soundhole with ivoroid binding, ivoroid soundhole rosette with inlaid wood rope pattern on each side, ivoroid-bound body and fingerboard, fleur-de-lis and "The Gibson" pearl inlays in headstock, refretted 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, replacement nut, 1-3/16" nut width, ~13-7/8" scale length, "The Gibson" tailpiece, replacement ebony bridge, replacement tortoise plastic pickguard with original mounting bracket, 4-on-a-plate open gear tuners with Handel inlaid tuner buttons, fine sound, with shaped OHSC (purple lining) (SN:32550 F.O.N.3269)
