FENDER PRECISION BASS (1971)

VGC-, needs work (along with the undoing of whatever homemade modifications described below that you deem necessary, also needs serious cleanup, fret level, restring, setup, etc. - sold AS-IS), is this folk art, a voodoo talisman, or a sacrifice to the Bass Gods?; this '70s P-Bass was modified beyond all human comprehension with the back of the body routed, the top routed for an EMG Select jazz pickup, a huge dowel inserted into the upper horn for this amazing handpainted blue dragon head attachment, and a thick wooden pickguard and backplate "custom crafted" for the body (and screwed down with big, thick screws), but the neck is unmodified (with original tuners), the P-Bass pickup, neckplate, bridge, and knobs are probably all original, it's a big project but could be a worthy one, 1-1/2" nut width, 34" scale, with OHSC (orange lining, and needs deodorizing) (SN:328219)
