NATIONAL STYLE 1 TRICONE (1927)

VG-EC (a few small body dings), German silver body heavily engraved (period work, but not original) with floral pattern on top, sides, back, neck, coverplate, tailpiece and handstrap, stamped "PAT. PEND." on body at base of fingerboard, lattice soundholes, square metal-clad neck with slotted headstock, headstock refinished and new decal by National Resophonic, white-bound 19-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, 1-15/16" nut width, 25" scale, T-bar bridge (bone saddle), three 6" cones and triangular screened coverplate, wooden soundwell insert beneath cones (recently restored by National Resophonic), stamped metal resonator well, recent replacement tailpiece (engraved to match the rest of the body), 3-on-a-plate tuners with white plastic buttons (close, but not matching), very interesting early instrument (first year of manufacture), on consignment, with later HSC (SN:201)
