GRETSCH CHET ATKINS 6122 COUNTRY GENTLEMAN (1966): VGC+ a great player's guitar that needs some repairs (refret, new nut, reglue binding and heel-cap, refoam mute, remount pickguard, etc. - sold AS-IS), double cutaway walnut finished maple body, 17" lower bout, painted on f-holes, 2-piece maple neck joins body at the 14th fret, 22 fret ebony fingerboard with thumbnail inlays, zero fret, 1 Filtertron pickup at the bridge and 1 Supertron pickup at the neck, master volume control, 2 volume controls (one for each pickup), 2 pickup selector switches, "G" indent knobs, gold hardware (worn), gold pickguard reads "Chet Atkins / COUNTRY GENTLEMAN / GRETSCH", Grover tuners, T-roof headstock logo, headstock plaque reads "THE CHET ATKINS COUNTRY GENTLEMAN", Gretsch "Bigsby" tremolo, w-b-w double-bound body, back pad, ~24-3/8" scale, ~2" body depth, ~1-5/8" nut width, pots dated 45th week of 1965, with gray OHSC (burgundy lining).
