JEFF MENZIES "YAYLI BANZA" (recent): EC+, 14" kettle gourd body, ~11" goatskin head attached with brass tacks, black walnut neck, fretless bubinga fingerboard, 1-11/16" nut width, 25-1/4" scale length, five boxwood tuning pegs, tuned C2, G2, D3, A3, E4 (tuned like a 5-string piccolo cello), designed by Roger Landes and constructed by Jeffery Menzies, based on a Persian kemanche crossed with a fretless gourd banjo, can be plucked or bowed, very nice and unique sound, gut strings, made in Canada, on consignment
