He starts with "Make Me a Pallet on Your Floor" which uses a rhumba beat in open G. His funky "Drop Down Mama" is a fantastic lesson in syncopation and groove. From there it's D minor tuning for a haunting version of "The Cuckoo," then D tuning and his own "Street Corner Rag," a bottleneck tour-de-force. His "toolbox tips" on turnarounds, strumming, & arranging a tune like "Railroad Bill" rounds out this lesson. Intermediate. Includes tab booklet. 95 min.
