Southern Appalachian eclecticist Bruce Molsky joins forces with longtime Beausoleil figurehead Michael Doucet, Montreux/Psychograss/Duo violinist Darol Anger and gonzo cellist Rushad Eggleston, and the result is a sparkling program of tunes that suggest the term "hybrid vigor"! "I would describe this group's sound as elemental, almost savage," says Anger. "To hear these grooves slam together and interweave... it's almost like sword fighting. But it's amazing the blend we get. Some of the grooves have never been heard before in a string quartet."
