STELLING BANJO PICKUP: Mounts on rim rods. Two sensors touch the head near the neck joint (with a bare minimum of pressure) and transmit the head vibrations to the pickup. Tone is full-bodied with great resonance. The 1/4" jack mounts in the banjo flange. Plug directly into amp or PA, no pre-amp is required, though as with all pickups some eq is desirable. Cord not included. A keyboard or bass amp gives the best result. Although the sensors do not affect the acoustic tone significantly, it is a simple matter of removing the resonator and loosening a wing nut, to back them completely away from the head if desired.
