D-size, Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top with scalloped braces, ivoroid binding, herringbone top trim & rosette, ebony bridge, tortoise pickguard. Like Rice's famous guitar, the bound ebony fingerboard extends into the large (4 1/4") soundhole. 25.375" scale, 1 11/16" nut width, 2 3/16" string spacing at saddle, no fretboard inlays except Santa Cruz SCGC logo at the 12th fret (regular side dots at the usual frets), plain ebony peghead overlay, Santa Cruz open-gear tuners.
