PHOENIX JAZZ MANDOLIN & CASE: Desiged specifically with the jazz player in mind, this mandolin has a warm dark tonal personality. Flatwound Thomastik strings are used w/ higher & wider frets for clean noting & string bending, double cutaway body for full neck access, highly figured red maple back, sides & neck, European spruce top w/ f-holes & tone bar bracing, snakehead peghead style with "Phoenix" inlay and black & gold tuners, Macassar ebony peghead overlay, fingerboard, finger rest & tailpiece overlay, "Timeless Timber" maple bridge base w/ ebony saddle, offset microdot fingerboard inlay, light brown burst finish, dual pickup sytem includes a McIntyre Feather pickup and Kent Armstrong floating electromagnetic pickup, all wired to a stereo endpin jack, includes hardshell case.
