This fabulous tuning makes a diatonic player a chromatic player. Three notes are altered and the key of the harp is labeled in "crossharp" (second) position -- the listed key of the harp is the key you play in. The 3 draw is raised, as are the 5 and 9 blow, to permit the playing of exact melody in the major scale. This is a great harmonica for country, pop, R & B, jazz and standards.
