Black 12" rim (multi-ply maple, no tone ring), Remo Renaissance head, No-Knot tailpiece, 18 brackets, Dobson style cherry neck with graphite reinforcing rod, ebony or rosewood fretboard (as available), ~25-3/4" scale, scooped fretboard above the 15th fret for extra-easy playing over the neck, pearl position dots, 5 geared tuners, octagonal dowel stick, script "Tradesman" burned in back of headstock. Medium gauge steel strings. Black triangle-shaped padded gigbag with backpack straps, exterior accessory pocket. NOTE: Kevin builds all his banjos for a slightly higher action than on our other openbacks (3/16" vs. 2/16" @ 12th fret).
