GOLD TONE W-SM WEISSENBORN STYLE 3 MAHOGANY GUITAR: Acoustic lap steel guitar. Top, back & sides are all solid mahogany, black body & neck binding with "rope" top trim and rosette ring, fret lines inlaid in fingerboard, pearl position markers, gold vintage replica gears, gloss finish. Hollow neck extends body cavity for unique tone. Originally designed in the 1920's for Hawaiian guitar styles, it has found its way into blues, pop and other music. Scale length is about 24-3/4". Nut width 1-15/16", string spacing approx 1-9/16" at nut, 2-7/16" at saddle.
