CHUCK LEE LONE STAR DELUXE VINTAGE 12" BANJO: The Lone Star Deluxe has all the fit, finish and tone of Chuck's other non-metal tone ring models, clean peghead lines, a Dobson-style heel and a frailing scoop. 3-piece hardwood neck is separated by a single ebony veneer, 25.5" scale, double action truss rod, bone nut measuring 1-11/32 to 1-3/8" and ebony fingerboard with side dots. The peghead sports a plain ebony overlay with single Lone Star inlay and patented planetary geared violin-style tuners, and the wooden tone ring sits on a 12" two-ply rim with a Renaissance head and No Knot tailpiece, 18 brackets. Neck woods and finish colors vary somewhat.
