CHUCK LEE LONE STAR DELUXE CUSTOM WITH 11" TONY PASS RIM BANJO

The Lone Star is Chuck's "workhorse" banjo with all the fit and finish of his other models, clean peghead lines, a Dobson-style heel and a frailing scoop. It has a laminated neck with veneers running up each side of the center strip for strength, but without laminations under the peghead and fingerboard, 25.5" scale, double action truss rod, bone nut measuring 1-11/32 to 1-3/8", ebony fingerboard. The peghead sports an ebony overlay with 5 Star tuning pegs, and the wooden tone ring sits on an 11" Tony Pass 3" x 1/2" x 11" birch rim with a Renaissance head, 14 brackets, and No Knot tailpiece.
