ASHER BEN HARPER SIGNATURE MODEL LAP STEEL & CASE: CHERRY SUNBURST & NICKEL HARDWARE - Due to the success of the fabulous Ben Harper limited edition lap steel, Bill Asher and master slide player, Ben Harper, have decided to proceed with an ongoing signature edition production model. Weissenborn inspired, this solid body guitar has a neck-thru body of FSC-certified mahogany with cylindrical tone chambers, flamed maple top with classic cherry-burst nitrocellulose lacquer finish, two Duncan Custom Shop '59 humbucking pickups with master tone and volume controls for each, and a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch. The nickel plated hardware includes a tune-o-matic style bridge, stop bar tailpiece and Kluson tuning machines with plastic keystone buttons. The fretboard is rosewood with 22 plastic flush-frets and a 25" scale length. Top and fretboard are bound. Includes a custom made Cedar Creek wooden hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.
