DUSTY STRINGS PD30 PIANO DULCIMER: Fully chromatic 2 1/2 octave range. New design for piano players and other musicians who like the sound of the hammered dulcimer, but don't wish to learn its tuning system. A single bridge supports 16 2-string courses tuned to a 1/2 step interval. You play a chromatic scale by striking on alternate sides of the bridge from the bottom to the top. Laminated top & back, solid mahogany rails, solid maple pinblocks, decorative carved vine in soundholes. Tuning chart, hammers and a copy of Madeline MacNeill's book "Playing the Piano Dulcimer" included. Designed by Sam Rizetta.
