SANTA CRUZ OM/PW WITH ADIRONDACK TOP & CASE: PRE-WAR MODEL ROSEWOOD OM, HIDE GLUE CONSTRUCTION - Guitars of the 40's were built using hot hide glue, an adhesive that dries harder than the wood glues used nowadays. Its lack of elasticity also requires more precise joinery. Both factors contributed to the classic sound of those instruments. Santa Cruz offers them today. - 000/OM size, Indian rosewood back & sides, Adirondack spruce top with forward-shifted X-brace for enhanced bass response, black binding, multi-layered black/white soundhole rosette, tortoise pickguard, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard (1-3/4" nut, 25.375" scale). Peghead has Indian rosewood overlay with Santa Cruz pearl logo, Santa Cruz 18:1 vintage style open gears. Archtop hardshell case.
