Known mostly as an electric guitar player, Buddy Guy also records on acoustic, most recently on his 2004 album "Buddy Guy, Blues Singer". - J-size body of Indian rosewood and Adirondack spruce, 3-piece back, scalloped braces, ivoroid binding with multilayered black/white top trim. Low profile neck, bound ebony fretboard(25.4" scale, 1-11/16" nut), bound peghead with ebony overlay & turquoise color Martin block letter logo. Guy's love of polka dots shows in the fretboard inlay, soundhole rosette, & bridge, even the ebony bridge pins have turquoise dot inlays. For the electric guitar player moonlighting on acoustic, the volume and tone controls for the undersaddle Gold Plus transducer are conveniently installed in the top. Inside label signed by C.F. Martin IV and Guy and numbered in sequence with total. Only 36 will be built. Geib style wooden hardshell case.
