D size. Honors veterans of the US armed forces. Peghead features official emblems of the 5 armed service branches in a row down the center with the Martin logo above, pearl fretboard inlays are an eagle at the third fret, the word veterans in block letters between the 5th & 12th frets, stars at the 15th & 17th, and a dyed wood National Defense Service ribbon at the 20th fret. Body of rosewood & Sitka spruce, hybrid scalloped bracing, blue paua shell rosette, black binding with herringbone top trim & black/white purfling around sides & back, aging toner, beveled black pickguard, gloss finish. Low profile neck, 1 11/16" nut, 25.4" scale, black Corian nut & saddle, ebony headplate, fretboard & bridge, gold vintage style tuners with butterbean buttons. Hardshell case with black hardware. Numbered inside label signed by C.F. Martin IV. A set of 2 dog tags stamped with the guitar's serial# will be mailed to the owner directly from the Martin Co. once the warranty has been registered. .
