DOUG BERCH MOUNTAIN DULCIMER and GIGBAG: WALNUT - Nicely crafted lap dulcimer made of Walnut with Cherry binding around the top. Four strings, 25 7/8" scale length, 1 3/8" fingerboard width, playing in D-A-D with string gauges 024 012 010/010. Has 19 frets including a 6 1/2 fret and a 13 1/2 fret. Black Gotoh mini tuners. Can be played with double top string, 4 equidistant strings, or as a 3-string. Can be up by maker in other tunings, if desired. Made in USA by musician Doug Berch. Number 94.
