DOUG BERCH MOUNTAIN DULCIMER and GIGBAG: FIGURED CHERRY - Nicely crafted lap dulcimer made of Cherry with a Western Red Cedar soundboard. The sides have moderate curl figuring and the back has light figuring. Walnut binding around the top. Four strings, 25 7/8" scale length, 1 3/8" fingerboard width, set up for playing in D-A-D with string gauges 024 012 010/010. Has 19 frets including a 6 1/2 fret and a 13 1/2 fret. Chrome Gotoh mini tuners. Can be set up by maker in other tunings, if desired. Made in USA by musician Doug Berch. Number 92.
