Andy Summers' guitar explorations are wide - rock, jazz, classical, Brazilian and more. This is his ideal performing acoustic guitar. - 000 size cutaway body of Indian rosewood and Italian Alpine spruce, scalloped braces (5/16" thick), "chevron checkered" black/white binding around top, 3-ring rosette with fine herringbone center ring, no pickguard, ebony pyramid Stauffer bridge, ebony bridgepins with pearl dots, ivoroid back binding, black/white side inlay, aging toner on top. Modified low oval neck shape, ivoroid-bound ebony fretboard (short 24.9" scale, 1-3/4" nut), bound ebony peghead with pearl lotus flower inlaid in ebony, position inlays are pearl hands in Buddhist mudra gestures with a yin yang symbol at the 17th fret and Summers' signature at the 19th, nickel Waverly tuning gears. Bone nut, TUSQ saddle, Fishman Ellipse blend pickup system, Geib style case. Inside label signed by Summers and C.F. Martin IV and numbered sequentially with edition total. Only 87 will be built.
