                           Tenor banjo and octave mando players will like this instrument patterned after a 1920's vintage SS Stewart label tenor guitar. Solid Sitka Spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, ebony fingerboard with abalone dots, banjo-style peghead with ebony overlay, 21&quot; scale length, 32&quot; total length, upper bout 8&quot;, lower bout 11&quot;, round sound hole with wood-inlaid rosette, black plastic binding, and ladder bracing. 5-Star geared planetary tuners, carbon rod reinforced neck, bone nut, Waverly tailpiece and floating ebony bridge. Originally intended for banjo players and tuned in fifths, this instrument can be tuned an octave lower than a fiddle or mandolin, in both standard (GDAE) and a variety of open tunings.
