Location: Lansing's Old Town and Elderly Instruments

Elderly Instruments is proud and excited to be a supporter of the Second Annual MIGHTY UKE DAY on Saturday May 5 in Old Town Lansing! "Mighty Uke" is an acclaimed award-winning documentary about the instrument of the 21st Century; the ukulele. This is a stop on the Mighty Uke Roadshow that has been selling out venues and entertaining audiences across the country. Hosting the showings will be "Mighty Uke" director Tony Coleman and producer Margaret Meaghan.

In addition to the film there will be a concert is headlined by the one and only Lil' Rev and will also feature The Fabulous Heftones, Gerald Ross, the amazing 11-year-old Magdalen Fossum and The Ukulele Kings. There will also be uke group performances and strums, open mic/jam sessions, workshops, children's activities, ukulele giveaways, and much more. BRING YOUR UKE to play along after the movie!

Elderly Instruments will be hosting workshops by Lil' Rev (and an in-store concert with Rev on Friday) and will have special prices on many of our ukuleles and related merchandise.
